From Brad Jacobson:

"Surfing Malibu for the first official swell of summer. Surfers were getting rides of 1 minute + long! They were connecting waves from second point all the way to the pier. It was a super fun swell. I haven't filmed Malibu in a long time but this day has me yearning to come back. Thanks for watching. I'm Brad Jacobson and I'll see you on the beach."

"When I came to the beach on Friday, I saw LAPD investigating a crime scene after a man was found dead at the Venice Beach Boardwalk encampment. There was a homeless man stabbing another homeless man."

Pacific officers arrested 38-year-old Michael McClain, who was booked for the murder of 49- year old Michael Hall. Both the victim and suspect were persons homelessness men, according to police. But LAPD will probalby release him like they to everyone they arrest.

On Sunday, 70-year-old Venice Boardwalk performer, John Gavert, was attacked again by another homeless person.

Earlier this month, Gavert was attacked by Marco Harger a piece of trash homeless man who lives on the Boardwalk. He survived the attack and was back out on the Boardwalk preforming when the second attack on him happened.

The video below show some of the incident, and as expected, the now useless LAPD that handles Venice let the homeless lady that attacked him go free.

There is a Fundraiser for John Gavert now: I’m a street performer I was assaulted,

"Los Angeles is completely open, no more restrictions. Everybody enjoyed Machine Gun Kelly’s and Travis Barkers Free concert on the rooftop in Venice Beach, California. Hundreds of spectators enjoyed the great music and the fun in the sun. It was incredible to see so many people dancing and having fun."

This is an update to Arbor Security Guard Almost Killed By Homeless Man: On Tuesday, June 8, the LASD Homeless Outreach Services Team, Venice Outreach workers and several other non-profit groups started their humanitarian mission in Venice Beach. The following is the press release from the LASD Newsroom

"Law enforcement personnel are often the first contact with those experiencing homelessness. For that reason, the Homeless Outreach Service Team (HOST) was created to exemplify the county’s efforts to combat homelessness and preserve public safety. The LASD HOST’s mission is to positively impact the homeless crisis in the county while increasing public safety and preserving the rights and dignity of persons experiencing homelessness.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva visited the Venice Boardwalk recently and promised he would do everything he could to help the homeless community if local politicians failed to act regarding the homeless crisis.

On Tuesday, June 8, 2021 the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homeless Outreach Services Team (LASD HOST), the Mental Evaluation Team (LASD MET) and the Veterans Affairs Administration, Venice Outreach workers and several other non-profit groups were on Venice Boardwalk assessing the humanitarian crisis in Venice.

Deputies and service workers were on scene contacting the homeless population on the Venice Boardwalk. LASD Deputies working to help house some of the thousands of homeless individuals in LA County are on a humanitarian mission. In this exchange, we met Robert, a 76 year old Navy veteran, who has spent years living on the street.

Our HOST (Homeless Outreach Services Team) has spent many days talking to Robert, building trust & understanding. After long conversations in person, Robert finally agreed to accept services from the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

LASD’s HOST (Homeless Outreach Services Team) & MET (Mental Evaluation) Deputies are the best at what they do showcasing everyday how leading with compassion & genuine concern makes a difference in solving this public safety crisis.

The LASD’s Homeless Outreach Services Team (HOST) continues to assist those experiencing homelessness throughout the County. Los Angeles County has established subsidies to support our most vulnerable residents, and it has proven affordable and effective. The County is redoubling efforts to combat this issue, and as part of the county family, the Sheriff’s Department is as well

Through our contacts with thousands of homeless neighbors, HOST has earned a reputation for being compassionate, accountable, innovative, and bold. HOST has transcended the role of traditional law enforcement. For years, HOST has accomplished the mission with zero uses of force."

This Week In Malibu: Episode 3, from Grant Hilling:

"This week in Malibu we take a look at a very grey day in May."

This is an update to Arbor Security Guard Almost Killed By Homeless Man:

Tariq “T” Ali is the security guard at Arbor Collective - a local skateboard and snowboard shop in Venice CA. He is also the first person most people are greeted by when they come into the store.

On June 3rd, 2021, T was asking a homeless man to vacate the store’s parking lot, when the man then broke a bottle over T’s head and proceeded to stab him multiple times with the broken bottle. He is currently in the hospital.

T is a beloved member of the Venice community. Even kids from the nearby school know him, and say hi to him.

As a community, we would like to show our love and support.

Please consider giving what you can to assist T in a speedy recovery.

This fundraiser was created by friends of T. All proceeds will go to Tariq "T" Ali directly.

From AsaWolfeSkates:

Video from Friday, June 6th at Malibu.

“The bottle cut very close to arteries on his head and wrist. He could very easily have died. 100 staples in his head and 150 stitches around wrist / hand. He will have the scars of this attack for rest of his life”

On Thursday night, Arbor's beloved security gaurd "T" asked a drunk homeless man to leave the Arbor parking lot to which the homeless man responded by hitting "T" on the head with a bottle, then stabbing him multiple times in the head and torso with the broken bottle.

Arbor's Bob Carlson said "There was blood everywhere."

Arbor staff was able to followed the homelesss man until the police arrived and arrested him. Which is surprising, as we have first hand witnessed the LAPD Pacific Division allow homeless criminals to attack people then let them go free and pretty much tell the victimns to "just aviod these people" (viewers of Shacked Instagram stories may remember the video where the lazy-ass cop tells the bleeding victimn that).

Carlson, along with pretty much everyone, is angry at what Venice has turned into, "We are on our own. We are alone in dealing with violent people who can kill you and there is nobody who is going to save you. If that had been one of my employees in our parking lot--that person would be dead"

The sign outside of Arbor says it all:

"Today, I would like to show you what Venice Beach looks like on a Sunday afternoon. It felt like there has been lots of people on Venice Beach Boardwalk, even though there are no Europeans traveling in the United States. It was a sunny day, there were lots of people enjoying walking around Venice Beach, watching shows, rollerskating, skateboarding, or visiting the drum circle. Venice Beach looks very much alive, it almost gives you a normal feeling again."

They trying to clean up Venice Beach. They are still all the homeless encampments in Venice, hopefully soon they can move into housing."

"Some high level Malibum surfing from father and son Zian and Ian Boyd plus some additional waves.. I think it's safe to say Zian looks the way everyone else feels like they surf. If you know you know."
