From Brad Jacobson:

"Here's 10 reasons why maybe you shouldn't start surfing.

Surfing is an absolute blast and is one of the most addicting recreational sports out there but it's not as simple and easy as it may appear.

Sharks, nasal drip, wetsuits and crowds are just a few reasons why you may want to think twice before paddling out.

YES, this is mostly satire...

Thanks for watching! I'm Brad Jacobson and I'll see you on the sand. "

From Brad Jacobson:
"I'd normally delete most of these clips but maybe I'm wrong, maybe you want to watch surfing like this. They're having fun but is it fun to watch?
These clips are from Malibu taken a few weeks ago.
Thanks for watching. I'm Brad Jacobson and I'll see you on the sand."

The entry to Point Dume is closed to pedestrians & vehicles due to the access road collapse.

This is the access road that connects the entrance on Westward Beach Road to the parking lot.

The access road that connects the entrance on Westward Beach Road to the beach parking lots is impassable after high tides and surf Friday night caused serious damage.

LA Beaches & Harbors asks beachgoers to stay away from Pt Dume Beach. Without vehicle access, they can't clean facilities or pump out portable toilets. There is no water or power.

This is the road on Wednesday (above photo) vs this now (photo below).

From Brad Jacobson:

"Surfing Malibu
This is the one you've been asking for... the Truth About Surfing Malibu
For this episode I only discuss First, Second and Third point.
Yes, it's an incredible wave to surf, the people are beautiful and the houses are amazing but there's much more to it."

The victim’s body was discovered in the sand off the 20000 block of the Pacific Coast Highway near Big Rock Drive at around 6:15 a.m. Monday morning, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

He was found near a row of beachside homes and was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no word on his name or a cause of death.

So there's this pathetic self-rightious clout-chasing Tik Toker guy that feels because he has been sober for like 15 years, that it entitles him to go around being a douchebag to people in order to get video footage of them confronting him to use on his struggling social media accounts.

Because as we all know, drama = views, and eventually views = $.

But, this scum's money comes from whoring out his wife on Only Fans. As he proudly proclaims in the video, as he also puts down people who work "9-to-5" jobs.

In the video this idiot posted (which is below), he paints himself as the all rightious victim of localism by a surfer at Malibu.

But what really happened is that the second he arrived at the parking lot at Surfrider, he tries to get himself into a confrontation over a parking spot. According to many of the comments made throughout a few of his social media accounts, getting into drama with people is something he is constantly doing.

He aggressively approaches a beachgoer with his phone filming and tries to instagate a confrontation over the beachgoer parking in the spot he claims he wanted.

A fairly well-known surfer can then be heard in the background trying to defuse the situation, calling out this scumbag for trying to instigate drama.

So then Mr. Holier-Than-Everyone goes up to the surfer to get the drama footage he so pathetically needs.

The video is like 8 minutes of this idiot trying to get a rise out of the surfer, and bragging about himself and what a social media star he thinks he is (pfffft, his follower counts are not even a high number). But at the end, he shows that when he returned to his SUV, someone wrote "Influence This Bitch" with wax on his window.

So beware surfer guy from the video, whoever you are, this Tik-Tokking-Wife-Whoring-Out-Superstar says he is going to be looking out for you at Malibu in the future.

A Brush Fire broke broke out in Malibu, which is in an area known for homeless encampments. The fire had Tuna Canyon closed about 1 Mile North of PCH in the morning, but the fire is pretty much out at this point.

This set was shot from about 8:20-9:10 AM by ChrisDidThis.

These are just a few of the photos from this session. If you were out there, you probably got some surfing shots, probably multiple photos, they will be in the complete photo gallery for this day, check them out, the link to the gallery is down below.

From Brad Jacobson:

"Surfing Malibu for the first official swell of summer. Surfers were getting rides of 1 minute + long! They were connecting waves from second point all the way to the pier. It was a super fun swell. I haven't filmed Malibu in a long time but this day has me yearning to come back. Thanks for watching. I'm Brad Jacobson and I'll see you on the beach."

Mike, aka German in Venice, vlogs about daily life in Venice Beach, and the nearby communities.

" Today, I had to match up some pictures in Malibu at the Neptune's Net for a vlog, Since I had to drive all the way down to Malibu, I thought why not do a video about Malibu. I went to many movie locations: Karate Kid, Point Break, Iron Man, The Fast & The Furious. And I went To Paradise Cove where Britney Spears did her music videos. Sometimes, I also matched up some pictures well, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 were doing a photo shoot on the beach next to a Ferrari."

An elderly homeless surfer and Vietnam veteran could not hold back his happy tears when a group of friends surprised him with a new van to get his life back on track. Thomas Dube, 69, from Malibu, California, had fallen on hard times during the pandemic, losing his home, his job, and seeing his car break down, trapping him in a beach parking lot for roughly three months. Within his local California surfing community, however, Thomas is well-loved – surfers saying he is always so positive and friendly, despite his situation. But one day, Kenny Fong, 49 – a surfer who is friends with Thomas – said he read a Facebook post from the 69-year-old that said he would like the next chapter of his life to be in heaven and that his life on Earth was done. Kenny and two friends, Steve Cary and Josh Foelsy, decided they needed to do something to boost Thomas' spirits, so they settled on a van that would allow him to sleep more comfortably and travel around. In total, the trio managed to raise around $5000 to purchase a 2007 Honda Odyssey. They then surprised him with the new vehicle/ Read the full story here: happilynews.com
