A surfing contest mostly in the air returns deep-fried in the heart of Texas lies the world’s premier Airwave at BSR Cable Park. Pleased to announce that we're taking another dip in the pool for our second annual Stab High Surfing Contest. A quick recap: In 2018, we enlisted 16 of the world’s best aerial surfers. We invited them to Waco, Texas, stuck them on a man-made wave and politely asked they spread their wings. What we found that, without the slightest whiff of hyperbole, the air section at BSR is the best in the world. our competitors thrived in the pool, most never having stepped foot in Waco, Texas. Boy did they fly! We’re doing it all over again on Saturday, June 29th.

Midnite Bazaar is a monthly event which was founded to share the creations of individuals planted within the walls of the widespread City of Los Angeles, California, in a nighttime "flea-style" market. The goal of The Bazaar is to promote local artists, businesses and community development, bringing together an army of like-minded individuals who are striving to get their voices heard and products seen. So many amazing talents are nested within this city, and The Midnite Bazaar will expose you to some of the most interesting and thought-provoking products, ideas and talents that we have had the joy of discovering. Our events will feature both established and up-and-coming artists, fashion designers, musicians, tattooists, photographers, street artists, distillers, mixologists, woodworkers, custom car-motorcycle culture, local groups/gatherings, magicians, performers, oddities and much more. Any product, concept or talent making our mind stop and process its place in the world will be found here. Everything and everyone being displayed by The Midnite Bazaar has been created, fabricated or is currently operated in sunny California. Welcome to the world of The Midnite Bazaar. We hope you find something new that suits your lifestyle.

Mark your calendars for an epic evening of inspirational swell riding, Pizza, brews and an over all positive vibe!

These are new aerial photos of the beach erosion at Surfrider. They were taken by @charlesrsmith.

These images of Surfrider beach starting showing up on Instagram this morning. That Malibu Lagoon Restoration Project is the the cause of it. They cause the beach to errode so much, the city decide to dig up the beach and place huge boulders in front of the wall to protect it.

Here is a statement from Surfrider LA

The Surfrider Foundation is dismayed that City and County officials have chosen to drop boulders on the beach at Malibu in order to protect a historic landmark from erosion at First Point. Emergency seawalls are inevitable without proactive planning to accommodate ongoing erosion and the impacts of sea level rise. Surfrider continues to advocate for soft beach nourishment solutions at the Adamson Estate and a seasonal management program to encourage flows to exit Malibu Lagoon to the west at Third Point. We are calling on all stakeholders to come to the table and develop short- and long-term sustainable solutions that protect the beach at Malibu.
