Midnite Bazaar is a monthly event which was founded to share the creations of individuals planted within the walls of the widespread City of Los Angeles, California, in a nighttime "flea-style" market. The goal of The Bazaar is to promote local artists, businesses and community development, bringing together an army of like-minded individuals who are striving to get their voices heard and products seen. So many amazing talents are nested within this city, and The Midnite Bazaar will expose you to some of the most interesting and thought-provoking products, ideas and talents that we have had the joy of discovering. Our events will feature both established and up-and-coming artists, fashion designers, musicians, tattooists, photographers, street artists, distillers, mixologists, woodworkers, custom car-motorcycle culture, local groups/gatherings, magicians, performers, oddities and much more. Any product, concept or talent making our mind stop and process its place in the world will be found here. Everything and everyone being displayed by The Midnite Bazaar has been created, fabricated or is currently operated in sunny California. Welcome to the world of The Midnite Bazaar. We hope you find something new that suits your lifestyle.

Red Bull‘s WallRide contest will be held in lovely Venice Beach on Saturday, March 9. Weather has been a thorn in this contest’s side, which was originally scheduled for December and then moved to February. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a sunny day!

Pros and ams will be invited to get creative on different wall designs, and there will be opportunities for an open class of skaters to get in via a “wild card” selection. The contest will be held at the handball courts, known primarily for OG skate antics from some beloved Venice locals back in the day.

Skateboarders 16 years or older ranging from amateurs to professionals are invited to participate, but space is limited! The competition will be judged in ten-minute jam format heats. Registration will start at 10:00 a.m. and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Details below:

The Santa Monica Pier Paddle is now called the Santa Monica Pier 360 Ocean Sports & Beach Festival . And the name isn't the only thing new, it's now a 2-day event and they added an "epic, gravity-defying skate experience", whatever that means. Here's the press release about the skateboard event:

Red Bull is bringing an epic, gravity-defying skate experience to Pier 360 featuring local legend, Jeff Ho, and top skaters from around Los Angeles. Attendees can watch skaters 360 over the Pacific and if they want to get in on the action, they can attend demos and workshops led by local skate legends.

It all happens on June 23-24. The SUP and Paddleboard contest registrations are open now, no word on the skate event yet. More info at Santa Monica Pier 360 Ocean Sports & Beach Festival
