Brent Bolthouse & Surfrider Foundation LA Presents International Surfing Day Summer Solstice Event

We’re Celebrating ISD and the Summer Solstice in a Big Way here at The Bungalow in Santa Monica.
Come out and party with a purpose as we spread the love of surfing and the importance of our environment with
Surfrider Foundation. Performances starting promptly at 7pm and on.

The Undisputed King of the Surf Guitar burning down the house at the 2016 Tommy Bahama Paddleboard Race & Ocean Festival.

Tracing its roots back to the 1930’s Santa Monica Pier paddleboard races – some of the first in the world – this year’s event offers epic competition. Courses start and finish on the sand immediately south of the Pier and there are 5 ways to compete - Fun Paddle, Long Course, Elite Race, Tommy Bahama SUP / Paddleboard Knockout.

Malibu resident Soleil Errico won the USA Surfing national championship in the girls Under-18 longboard on June 10 in Oceanside, Calif.

Errico competed on Day 2 of the championship, which occurred June 9-12.

Last month, Errico also came away victorious in the Western Surfing Association West Coast Championship, where she finished first in the U18 Longboard and the Women’s Open All Ages Longboard events.
