Big news day at Venice Beach today, first the dead body , now a shooting.
PDRScanner reports a shooting on the Venice Boardwalk at 6:45PM on Wednesday.
Shooting happened at Venice & Ocean Front Walk. The victim was shot while their vehicle, which has Colorado plates (possible rental car).
Suspects fled in a black Mercedes van eastbound on Venice Blvd.
Victim was shot in the chest. Conscious & breathing was the last info announced. According to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim’s vital signs were stable at last check.

Another dead body found at Venice Beach. The Venice Current reported that a deceased body was discovered on Windward Plaza at 7:47AM Wednesday morning. LAPD was there all morning investigating.
No further details are available at this time.
