SaMo PRIDE will be returning this year to celebrate the inclusive and diverse spirit of Santa Monica.

Colorful photo booth installations, dubbed Colors of PRIDE, will be placed throughout downtown with fun, interactive props. Photos from the installations will be assembled to create a photographic mosaic, bringing the three districts together in a rainbow of colors that make up the LGBTQIA+ Progress PRIDE flag.

Artists can submitt and help design 1 of 6 photobooth installations! $500 honorarium. Share your concepts by 4/28 to samopride@cgevents.co.

"In a daring rescue operation, Santa Monica Police Harbor Patrol Officers, along with Los Angeles County Lifeguards, Los Angeles Fire Department, and Los Angeles Sheriffs Department, rescued a man who was injured in a waverunner accident in Santa Monica Bay near the Santa Monica Pier on Friday, April 21, 2023."

Van life is a Crime: Police show up guns drawn on a couple in a van at Venice Beach. Witness said the police were responding to a call of a fight between people in the van.
