Venice Beach, filmed by Cop Watch Venice

"Complied footage from this week in Venice. Mostly form Thursday and Fridays homeless encampment sweeps aka clean ups 4/14-15/22, and a few detainments.

Thursday was another confusing day for people staying on Hampton Ave after being told they didn't have to move, then told to move or lose everything. The neighboring street who was also supposed to move didn't have to for some reason, while Hampton residents lost most of their belongings.

Friday was even more wasteful with the park ranger led clean up. They kicked one man out of the bathroom and nothing else.

The new bathrooms at the Rose parking lot already needs new doors because of people breaking in at night to use them, and even the porta potties we're unusable. "

"Los Angeles Fire Department Engine 63 was dispatched to a reported transformer fire on the 800 block of E Superba Ave. While en route the incident was modified to a structure fire. Engine 63 was first on scene reporting a single story single family dwelling well involved with fire exposing a two story single family.

Truck 63 went to the roof while Engine 63 took fire attack, Truck 5 assumed Division A then transitioned to the roof on the exposed structure, which the fire extended into. Additional units were requested. Battalion 4 was known as Superba IC. Rescue 59 was medical.

The exposed building was updated to a three story single family dwelling. Knockdown was achieved in 36 minutes. No injuries, caused possibly from storage of combustibles on the side of the house."
