From FOX 11 News:
A fire broke out early Tuesday morning at the Venice Pier.
Fire crews responded around 4:45 a.m. and put the flames out quickly.
Fire department officials say trash under the pier along with a homeless encampment may have caused the fire.
The pier is completely closed until repairs are made.
