Enter our CAN THE TRASH! Clean Beach Poster Contest for a chance to have your message shared with millions of beachgoers!

To enter the poster contest, draw a picture with a message about how we can keep our oceans and beaches pollution-free and healthy. Be creative!



Contest winners will have their artwork displayed around trash barrels on the beach. Simply submit your artwork online, in person, or by mail. The contest is open to students in grades 3 – 5 who reside in the County of Los Angeles. Online submissions must be entered by an adult.

The official Grand Opening of Ice at Santa Monica takes place from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 9. Come take part in the fun and festivities all under the starlit Santa Monica sky! Join us for an enchanting evening of free ice skating after the ceremony–a perfect way to kick off winter! Free skate during the 5:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. sessions.

Groove to the coolest beats spun by our talented DJ while you skate. Our on-ice entertainers will dazzle you with their mesmerizing performances, adding a touch of magic to your skating experience.

The Grand Opening night features free admission! That's right. This incredible celebration is absolutely FREE for everyone! Ice at Santa Monica’s way of saying thank you to the Santa Monica community for your warm welcome. We have limited capacity so entrance is based on first come basis.

The 2nd Annual Skate n' Scare went down at the Venice Skatepark on Halloween afternoon.

This skate contest was hosted by Peter Ruiz of The Venice Pier Project and open to all ages. Prizes were supplied by Dogtown Skateboards and Naybor Hoodiez
