A Brush Fire broke broke out in Malibu, which is in an area known for homeless encampments. The fire had Tuna Canyon closed about 1 Mile North of PCH in the morning, but the fire is pretty much out at this point.

Mike, aka German in Venice, vlogs about daily life in Venice Beach, and the nearby communities.

"I am talking to 0G, he has been on the Venice Beach Boardwalk for a few years. He has accumulated lots of items on the Venice Boardwalk. Due to the homeless encampment cleanup on Venice Beach, he has to move all his stuff from the boardwalk."

After the above video was posted, LT Arrest-&-Release announced, "Today, 7/8/21, our beach officers recognized and arrested this suspect. Our detectives are working hard to identify all people who commit crimes on the boardwalk." so that can justbe released within hours to go back to the beach to commit more crimes.



Thursday, at 2:30pm, the Catch-&-Release PD reported there was a homeless tent fire on the sand at Venice Beach.

On Tuesday, this guy was trying to set up an encampment ON the PCH Southbound lane at Chatauqua. Cars going 60mph+ were trying to avoid hitting him.

After several called to LAPD, some local residents eventually convinced him to GTF off the road.
