The La Bomba Swell Is Coming!

According to Surfline "the biggest south swell of the season" is coming and it has a name!!!!!!!

The "La Bomba Swell", they are calling it.

"This biggest south swell of the season so far is set to light up every south-facing nook and cranny from Peru to Canada."

Saturday, April 24th: 4’+ waves on average, standouts up to 5-7’+. Favorable morning winds.
Solid, long period new S swell (190-170) peaks. For the zones that maximize straight S swell (southern Ventura into North LA), this should be a notch+ larger than the Easter swell with widespread chest-head high surf as good spots go overhead+. Light/variable wind prevails through the first half of the morning. Wind gradually trends onshore from the SW, light+ to moderate W wind developing through the afternoon. Wind drops off for most regions in the evening but don’t expect as much of a cleanup as Friday evening.

Sunday, April 25th: 4’+ waves on average, standouts up to 5-7’+. Light morning winds.
Solid, long period new S swell (190-170) lingers. Not expecting size to be down much from Saturday for the zones that maximize straight S swell (southern Ventura into North LA), with widespread chest-head high surf as good spots go overhead+ in the morning. Wind not looking as favorable with light/variable to light onshore wind to start the morning, gradually picking up into midday with light+ to moderate W/SW wind by midday, but there should still be some windows of decent surf to be had. Afternoon wind is looking even worse with moderate to breezy westerly flow for most exposures.
