Thursday, March 10th: 2-3’+ surf early eases PM. Favorable wind for some, not all.
Looking like a relatively clean morning with variable to light offshore flow as modest NW pulse from late Wednesday holds. Most average winter breaks top out in the knee-thigh occ. waist high range with focal points still a little larger at times running waist-stomach high through the morning. Surf eases a touch through the afternoon as onshore flow develops from the WNW. Wind may trend back offshore through the evening.
Friday, March 11th: 2-3′ surf lingers. Santa Anas for the AM.
Looking like a clean morning with light to locally moderate offshore Santa Ana flow for the morning — strongest offshores from Southern Ventura into North LA, and through pockets of OC and north SD. Most average winter breaks top out in the knee-thigh high range with focal points still a little larger at times running around waist-high through the morning. The morning is the cleanest window of the day with light to moderate WNW wind expected to make a mess of the little waves by the afternoon.
