In 2018, the devastating Woolsey Fire swept through Malibu, destroying the home of residents Bruce and Carla Bates. This fire, the largest in Malibu's history, decimated over 97,000 acres and 600 structures. The Bates were among thousands who faced the monumental task of rebuilding from scratch. Unable to find a prefab home that met their criteria, the couple found the perfect solution in a prefab home by Stillwater Dwellings. They look forward to hosting friends and family in their new space, designed with gatherings in mind. With their new home set against the same beautiful Malibu backdrop, the couple has found a way to move forward while paying homage to what they lost.
