Update on the woman who was shot and killed on December 1 just before 5:30 p.m. near the Venice Beach Boardwalk.

The victim is 28-year-old Ky Thomas, who was a mother to an 8-year-old girl and 1-month-old boy. She had recently purchased a home and had received her license to broker loans in commercial trucking, a family friend said during a news conference.

The LAPD says there was some type of dispute between Thomas, her boyfriend and and three Black males who were possibly wearing hoodies. The assailants ran away from the scene. No arrests have been made in the incident. Thomas was the only one who was shot and later died from her injuries.

“It still doesn’t seem real, it’s like I’m just waiting for Ky to call me, it’s like a dream,” Cortlyn Bridges, Thomas’ mother said.

“My daughter was not a gang member, my daughter was a mother, my daughter was a loving, kind and caring person who helped anybody,” Bridges said. “My daughter was a good girl, she had a good heart.”

Anyone with information about the shooting can call LAPD’s West Bureau homicide investigators at 213-382-9470.

The pissed of local that Smeared Human Feces All Over Venice Pier Construction Site last week has struck again. Check out the photo below.

Video footage of the Woman killed in Gang Shooting at Venice Beach from Wanderer Nirvana .

Someone is pissed off that part of the Venice Pier parking lot is closed for the pier's repair work.

So pissed off that he smeared his poop all over the fencing.

One of the employees of the the company that was hired to do the repair work on the pier showed our source the security video of the poop smearing.

The employee said it was blelieved to be human feces and that they have informed the "authorities" who are now looking for the suspect.

And this suspect, who is said to be a regular at the pier, may also be the reason there is always trash thrown in fenced off section.

There was a couple days that the Venice Pier parking lot smelled a lot worse than it usually does, this may be why.

"After a busy day, I went to Venice Beach. I walked all the way down to breakwater where lots of surfers meet to surf into the sunset. It was a beautiful sunset and I was able to recharge my batteries, to soak in the beauty of nature. Sometimes you just have to sit and enjoy life."

"Today, I interviewed Jeff, an Amish homeless man on Venice Beach who is trying to sell his art buttons on the boardwalk. He lives in a tent right on the Venice Beach Boardwalk. He speaks many languages and has traveled all over the world. It was Really interesting to talk to him. I hope you enjoy this video too."

Some lady from Canada is claiming she is going to open a skate and surf shop in Venice Beach.

Don't know if she has ever even visited Venice, but she claims she "understands the culture".

Here's her Press Release:

Seems she is a baby photographer in Canada who was able to trademark the Snapchat Ghost logo and is now upset and throwing rants like everyday on Twitter because Snapchat doesn't want to buy the trademark from her. Appears she was expecting Snapchat would give her millions and billions of dollars for the trademark.

She is getting her revenge by selling Snapchat Ghost merch on her online store and will soon open a Snapchat Ghost merch surf and skate shop in Venice. Obviously she chose Venice, because eveyone in Venice loved Snapchat.

Guess we will see come 2021 if she actually does open a shop or not.

The daily Venice Pier surf reporter Glenice is having a 40% Off Black Friday Sale on his merch at shopglenice.com.

"A homeless lady started a fire on the Venice Boardwalk. The tent caught on fire, luckily LAPD was patrolling on the beach and saw the fire. They turned off the fire whith sand really quickly before the fire department arrived."

"Since they started enforcing the no camping rule on the beach, lots of tents have been removed already from the sand."

"Today, I heard from a friend of mine that the police are ticketing the homeless people for camping on the beach. I did not see people actually getting tickets, but I talked to a few people and they told me that some people got tickets already. I met up with my friend Gucci and we had a little talk he always makes me smile."
