County Line is located on the borders of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. This break offers a right-hand cobblestone point break at the northern end of the beach, as well as 500 yards of beach break to the south.

2019 ZJ Boarding House Haunted Heats

On Saturday, ZJ Boarding House held their annual Haunted Heats Surf Contest. As always, it took place in between Towers 26 and 27 in Ocean Park. This year we saw surfers dressed up as the Ninja Turtles in their Pizza Van, a Banana dude, a ghost, Trump and his Tower, a Tourist, Wonder Woman, a pair of Solo Cups, and more. Worn Wear is coming to Patagonia Santa Monica on Saturday and Sunday (Oct 2nd & 3rd) from 11-5pm. The Worn Wear truck will be parked just across the street in front of the store.

Pull out your broken and busted stuff and they’ll do our best to get ya fixed up and on your way.

There will also be snacks, hot chocolate, and crafts for the kids.

Boardriders Malibu is hosting their first Mega Demo Day!

Sunset Beach Clean Up

Do you have what it takes to be a local Coastal Defender? Join Surfrider LA tomorrow for the final Core Volunteer Orientation of the year where you'll have an opportunity to meet SFLA Chapter leadership and learn about all the campaigns and programs Surfrider LA is working on. From climate change to beach access to plastic pollution, water quality, and coastal preservation, it's a perfect opportunity to discover how you can get involved in local efforts to protect our ocean, waves and beaches. Bring a beach chair or blanket for the hour-long orientation, and some sturdy shoes for what will be a gnarly cleanup along the rocks at Sunset Point.

After the cleanup, all are welcome to join in at Tallula's Restaurant - one of our favorite Ocean Friendly joints - for special happy hour bites and bevvies. So, orientation from 2-3pm, cleanup from 3-5pm, happy hour straight after. Look for everyone on the east end of the Gladstone's parking lot under the blue Surfrider tents. See you there!
