SATURDAY OCT. 26
VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
+
SUNSET POINT BEACH CLEANUP
2PM - 5PM
Do you have what it takes to be a local Coastal Defender? Join
Surfrider LA tomorrow for the final Core Volunteer Orientation of the year where you'll have an opportunity to meet SFLA Chapter leadership and learn about all the campaigns and programs
Surfrider LA is working on. From climate change to beach access to plastic pollution, water quality, and coastal preservation, it's a perfect opportunity to discover how you can get involved in local efforts to protect our ocean, waves and beaches. Bring a beach chair or blanket for the hour-long orientation, and some sturdy shoes for what will be a gnarly cleanup along the rocks at Sunset Point.
After the cleanup, all are welcome to join in at
Tallula's Restaurant - one of our favorite Ocean Friendly joints - for special happy hour bites and bevvies. So, orientation from 2-3pm, cleanup from 3-5pm, happy hour straight after. Look for everyone on the east end of the Gladstone's parking lot under the blue Surfrider tents. See you there!
