LAPD says the incident took place at 12:16pm on the 90 freeway when the suspect and victim got into an argument. They continued to Maxela and Lincoln where the suspect got out of his car and fired at the 25 year old male victim who was pronounced dead. The shooter was described as a black man driving a black Kia.

Police update said the gunman is still at large and was last seen driving away north on Lincoln Boulevard in a four-door black Kia, with Utah license plates.

"Chaos briefly ensued today during the annual Cinco de Mayo Parade on Lincoln Boulevard. The street had been closed to vehicles, with barricades placed at various intersections to ensure the smooth flow of the parade. However, one woman driving a red Mercedes had other ideas."
