The Holiday Walk & Marketplace transforms Santa Monica’s Montana Avenue into a festive outdoor celebration with local merchants, live music, carolers, and appearances by the Grinch, Cindy Lou, and Princess Elsa!



Shop, dine, and explore special in-store events and street booths from your favorite Montana Avenue businesses — the perfect way to celebrate the season and support local!

The Holiday Boat Parade in Marina del Rey is held every year on the second Saturday in December.

The parade is made possible with great support from Cedar Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital and from local businesses.

Each year a theme is chosen for the parade, and the theme for 2025 was chosen to be “A Nightmare Before Christmas” celebrating the 13th of December. The 2025 parade begins with a spectacular light show. Each year, boat participants come up with their own ideas and decorate their boats with lots of holiday lights and decorations based on our theme. They also wear costumes, dance, sing, perform live music. Both boaters and spectators enjoy themselves immensely.

A joyful 6-mile cruise through the streets of Santa Monica & Venice, great for all skill levels and ages. We just require attendees to have previous riding experience and mastery of stopping before attending this event.



Surprise stops along the way with holiday games, entertainment, and treats.



All Wheels Welcome!



Skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, scooters—if you roll, you're invited! Just make sure you're confident with basic road skills and stopping.

Spartacus: House of Ashur is a 10-episode Starz series that serves as a sequel to the original Spartacus franchise, premiering on December 5, 2025. The show explores a "what if" scenario where Ashur (Nick E. Tarabay) survives the events of Vengeance and is rewarded with the gladiator school he once served. The series follows his rise to power as a "Dominus" in the brutal world of Roman gladiators, a path he takes with the help of a fierce gladiatrix named Achillia.

Over 20 of the city’s best bars and restaurants come together to help raise money for the Westside Food Bank and those in need for the Holidays.

So throw on those Santa hats, shine those menorahs, grab your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues, and Crawl for a Cause at the 17th annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl.

Since 2008, the SANTA Monica Pub Crawl has raised enough for HALF A MILLION MEALS for the Westside Food Bank, and we couldn't have done it without you! Every $5 raised feeds 20 people, so every little bit counts.
