This is an update to Arbor Security Guard Almost Killed By Homeless Man: On Tuesday, June 8, the LASD Homeless Outreach Services Team, Venice Outreach workers and several other non-profit groups started their humanitarian mission in Venice Beach. The following is the press release from the LASD Newsroom

"Law enforcement personnel are often the first contact with those experiencing homelessness. For that reason, the Homeless Outreach Service Team (HOST) was created to exemplify the county’s efforts to combat homelessness and preserve public safety. The LASD HOST’s mission is to positively impact the homeless crisis in the county while increasing public safety and preserving the rights and dignity of persons experiencing homelessness.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva visited the Venice Boardwalk recently and promised he would do everything he could to help the homeless community if local politicians failed to act regarding the homeless crisis.

On Tuesday, June 8, 2021 the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homeless Outreach Services Team (LASD HOST), the Mental Evaluation Team (LASD MET) and the Veterans Affairs Administration, Venice Outreach workers and several other non-profit groups were on Venice Boardwalk assessing the humanitarian crisis in Venice.

Deputies and service workers were on scene contacting the homeless population on the Venice Boardwalk. LASD Deputies working to help house some of the thousands of homeless individuals in LA County are on a humanitarian mission. In this exchange, we met Robert, a 76 year old Navy veteran, who has spent years living on the street.

Our HOST (Homeless Outreach Services Team) has spent many days talking to Robert, building trust & understanding. After long conversations in person, Robert finally agreed to accept services from the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

LASD’s HOST (Homeless Outreach Services Team) & MET (Mental Evaluation) Deputies are the best at what they do showcasing everyday how leading with compassion & genuine concern makes a difference in solving this public safety crisis.

The LASD’s Homeless Outreach Services Team (HOST) continues to assist those experiencing homelessness throughout the County. Los Angeles County has established subsidies to support our most vulnerable residents, and it has proven affordable and effective. The County is redoubling efforts to combat this issue, and as part of the county family, the Sheriff’s Department is as well

Through our contacts with thousands of homeless neighbors, HOST has earned a reputation for being compassionate, accountable, innovative, and bold. HOST has transcended the role of traditional law enforcement. For years, HOST has accomplished the mission with zero uses of force."

Because of the corrupt and incompetent Mike Bonin and the failure of LAPD to properely police Venice Beach, the Sheriff's Department is now stepping in.

Tuesday mornig, the LA County Sheriff's Homeless Outreach Services Team (HOST) started assessing the Venice Boardwalk in order to triage the crisis and develop an action plan to "compassionately offer services while employing common sense in the regulation of public space within Los Angeles County".

Sheriff Alex Villanueva made the announcement that he plans to have the boardwalk cleared by the 4th of July.

Meanwhile, the corrupt and incompent Mke Bonin is crying like a bitch about it on twitter, but what else would you expect from a garbage politcican like him:

LA mayoral candidate, city councilmember Joe Buscaino was on the Venice Boardwalk giving one of his speeches about his three-point plan on making the city a safer place to a crowd of about 100 or so people, when a homeless lady (who is known as Angel from the Women Fight On Mothers Day At The Venice Boardwalk video) started threatening to kill people.

"I’m gonna start killing people!" she said, according to Venice resident Nico Ruderman.

Private security then grabbed Buscaino and rushed him to his SUV. Police officers then detained Angel as she dropped her 6-inch blade. One officer was cut by the blade. Angel yelled out that the blade was for her protection and to cut fruit.

"She 'experiencing homelessness' by choice. Literally came down from Oregon to party on the beach with 0 responsibility. Fully capable of being a functioning member of society but chooses this", an acquaintance of Angle stated.

"I just hope her cat is okay."

LAPD Captain Umbrich says the woman was arrested and likely will be charged with aggravated assault. They are getting witness testimony that she made at least one threat while holding the knife.

But as usual, it appears she was released minutes later according to witnesses that have spooted Angel out on the street already:

From the National Weather Service Los Angeles:

We are expecting a deep marine layer to develop on Monday with an upper low coming in. As a result, a big cool down is in store for the interior. High temps will be 5 to 10 (maybe more) degrees cooler than Sunday with highs in the 70s and possibly touching 80.

A deepening marine layer will bring the chance for patchy drizzle Monday morning across the coastal areas, especially the coastal slopes and foothills. This may make for a slippery and wet morning commute to start the work week. Be sure to allot some extra time!

The shit-show at Venice continues:

The victimn is a 70 year old performer who is a regular on the boardwalk.

Police are still looking for the piece of shit that assualted him. Most likely so they can just tell him to not do it again and let him go free, like the Venice Police officers have done in the past.

This is the second major assault, as earlier this week: Arbor Security Guard Almost Killed By Homeless Man
