We are celebrating the transformative power of reusable alternatives to single-use plastics at our Beach Cleanup this Earth Month! Every gloved hand on the sand, every advocate trained, and every dollar raised brings us closer to a plastic-free future.

Whether you participate in a beach cleanup or contribute to our online fundraiser, you'll be directly helping to rid our beaches of harmful plastic pollution and advocate for impactful, lasting change for the Los Angeles community.

Join us on the sand, explore all the ways you can make a difference this month, and share this page with your loved ones! We're grateful for your support and excited to celebrate with you.

This event's onling registration is getting very full!

Walk-up volunteers may still join us in the sand even if our online reservations sell out.

10 AM - 12 PM @ Santa Monica Beach, Northside of the Pier

FREE ADMISSION TO THE HEAL THE BAY AQUARIUM

11 AM - 4 PM @ the HtB Aquarium Under the Pier

The Heal the Bay Aquarium, will be FREE to all cleanup volunteers and open for an extra hour.

This event is held rain or shine, barring lightning or beach closure.

The Lost Hills Sheriff's Department confirmed the statements people have been posting online about the person who was hit by a truck on Pacific Coast Highway. “At this time in the investigation, all evidence leads us to believe this incident is a suicide and not an accidental traffic collision; however, the investigation is ongoing,” the Sheriff's press release said. The man has been identified as Dimitri Failla, 32 years old.

Several witnesses have also stated that person was a homeless man that just ran right out onto the highway.


Happening annually on Memorial Day weekend, Topanga Days is a 3-day music festival with artisans, food, beverages, a fun zone for kids and family games that raises funds for the Topanga Community Center, a 501c3 nonprofit.
