A section of Rose Ave west of Lincoln was blocked off for sevveral hours on Tuesday afternoon when LAPD responded to reports of a man with a gun.
The man was approached by officers outside of the Venice Family Clinic around 1:30 p.m. on the 600 block of Rose Avenue. After refusing to comply with the officers, he ran into the clinic.
He was a white male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
The clinic was evacuated. A lady who was inside said she saw he gunman hide under a bench.
SWAT and K-9 units arrived and using "less-lethal weapons" he was taken into custody around 3PM.
No other details were released at this time.
