Not much surfing going on lately, but it's Wednesday, so we dug up some local Wipeout photos for this Wipeout Wednesday.   They were shot Six12 Media.

We post new sets of wipeout photos every Wednesday (more or less).   Click: Wednesday Wipeouts to check out the previous Wipeout Wednesday photo sets.

Due to inclement weather, the Surfrider LA beach cleanup / new volunteer training for this weekend has been postponed to 3/18/18 at Sunset Beach from 10-1pm. Mark your calendars and stay tuned and enjoy the rain!

This Sunday. @keepsunsetclean is hosting a beach clean up at Sunset Surf Spot from 10am-1pm. Everything will be provided including morning coffee from Gladstones, just bring your own water bottle & coffee mug!

Join Surfrider LA and the Keep Sunset Clean squad for the first cleanup of the year this Sunday from 10AM - 1PM. Last month, some 40 volunteers removed over 1600 lbs of trash in less than 4 hours from Sunset Point, arguably the most trashed beach in LA county.

✅Be sure to wear sturdy, close-toed shoes and long pants. ✅

Park along the PCH or in the lot at Gladstones.

Coffee and pastries by Gladstone's

‼️Please note: Cleanups at Sunset are especially hazardous as we are set up on the edge of the Pacific Coast Highway. While we take measures to ensure everyone's safety, working this close to the highway has increased risks. As such, this is not a cleanup for unattended youngsters. ‼️

Surfrider West LA / Malibu and @keepsunsetclean are hosting a beach clean up tomorrow at Sunset Surf Spot from 10am-2pm. Everything will be provided including morning coffee from Gladstones, pastries from Whole Foods & Ralph's & burritos from Chipotle, just bring your own water bottle & coffee mug! After the clean up , there'll be a surf sesh for those interested. Meet at the lifeguard tower just south of Sunset & PCH.

The "Best Swell Of The Season" continued into Monday. Here's what it was like at Sunset in the morning.

These photos were shot by Six12 Media and are sponsored by ProShotCase.com, who make cases that pretty much turn your iPhone into a Gopro, check them out. Free shipping when you use the links posted here.

This is just a few of the shots, there are well over 100 more photos.

Check out the huge gallery of all the photos, all full size and in high-resolution, in the complete Sunset - Monday 10-9-2017 Gallery. If you were out there getting waves, you most likely got some photos taken, check them out.

What is being called the biggest swell of the season rolled in this past weekend. We got thousands of photos from our photographers. From Friday to Monday, from down to the Venice Pier, if you were out there at the same time Six12 Media or SteveChristensenPhoto was, you most likely got some shots.

With so many photos to filter through and upload, it'll take a little bit of time to get done, but here are some preview shots:

And with waves like this, there should be some good wipeout shots for upcoming Wednesday Wipeouts.

The fog went away, making for much better photos of the surf than there was for the early morning hours. These photos are by Six12 Media.
