That was your LAFD's 762nd emergency response of the day on this busy (and yes, hot) Friday, and we're pleased to say it was a non-injury fire involving only a vehicle in the Walgreen's parking lot, quickly handled by one firefighter with one hose line from the first arriving fire engine.

We hope this information helps.
Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,
Brian Humphrey Firefighter/Specialist Public Service Officer Los Angeles Fire Department

"Today, they were filming the spinoff of Rocky, Creed 3 with Michael B Jordan as the main character and director. They were filming the exercise scenes on Muscle Beach and directly on the beach. A hard workout. Jonathan Majors plays Michael B Jordan’s opponent in Creed 3. I also met the Oscar winner and two time Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson on the beach, it was an awesome day."

Venice Beach, CA update 3/1/22 by Cop Watch Venice

"The beach is looking as bad as ever as LAPD has been chasing most people inland in the middle of the night. The older encampments, including the Venice library park are getting fuller because of it, and nothing is being done to help anyone, just the same waste and move along tactics. After decades of failure with the exact same treatment and the Supreme court rulings against it, you'd think they'd try something different, but the residents keep supporting this lunacy, leaving everyone in misery and destroying our community."
