On the first Sunday of every month, the Westside VW Club holds their VW Coffee Meet on the Santa Monica Pier. From 8::30AM till about noon, the parking lot on the pier is filled with various vintage VWs. Here's some photos from the April meet shot by Six12 Media .

The Ocean Park Community Celebrates its Quasquicentennial, or One Hundred Twenty-Five Year Anniversary, 1891 - 2016! It was 125 years ago this year that Abbot Kinney signed the first documents to begin the creation of the community of Ocean Park. Streets, services, and the railroad soon followed to help develop what is now a bustling area in Santa Monica. The Ocean Park Clothing Co is teaming up with the Ocean Park Association and Six12 Media to help celebrate the anniversary.

"Day Trip" is a perfect spring day in Los Angeles through the Crap Eyewear lens. This homage to our beloved home city features beach hangs and convertible cruising along PCH, a lunchtime pitstop at the original In-N-Out, and a sunset paddleboat ride on Echo Park Lake.
Starring Ella Mai Weisskamp and Jake Sutter, "Day Trip" features photography by Quang Le and a short film by Cameron Holland, all fueled by a vintage '73 Mercury Cougar and soundtracked by LA rockers CG Roxanne And The Nightmares.
On Wednesday night at Santa Monica’s The Bungalow, this years gorgeous cast of models — Anna Herrin, Juliana Herz, Kara del Toro and Scarlett Leithold — mingled with friends and industry friends and others who want to be their friends, in celebration of this years edition. The Bungalow’s walls were adorned with the adorable features of the eight beautiful women featured in the issue. A 15-minute highlight reel looped above the open bar.
Wait, eight? Who are the other four? Well, for the second year in a row, SWIM isn’t just about the models. A portion of of this year’s issue features a few of the most talented female surfers in the world today — Tia Blanco, Nikki van Dijk, Malia Manuel and Coco Ho. And while Tia was in attendance at the Bungalow, the other three are currently over in Australia, competing in the CT event at Bells Beach. And with the way she’s been surfing, Tia will be joining them down under very soon.
The party was a bitching time filled with free booze, beautiful people and heaps of music from the 1970’s. But, as the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, so check out the sights of the 2016 SURFING Swimsuit Issue launch party:
