The Malibu Surfing Assoc.'s MSA Classic Invitational is the United States' most prestigious club-level surfing contest and premier event in the Coalition of Surfing Clubs annual series. This invitational contest was held at Surfrider Beach, Malibu onSeptember 10/11, 2016. More than 200 invited athletes representing surfing clubs from around the world to compete at First Point, Malibu, one of surfing’s legendary waves.

ZJ Boarding House is having another Night Sesh on Friday, September 16th, featuring the film: The Far Shore. Bring your chairs, blankets, and friends and come out for next week's Night Sesh on the Ca Heritage Museum lawn! The filmmakers are coming out and there will be a Q&A after.

About the film:
In 1972, young Kevin Naughton and Craig Peterson took to the road with surfboards, camera gear and an untamable desire for adventure.

For ten years they scoured the planet in search of perfect waves and experiences only a traveler on the road encounters. This documentary film chronicles their journey.

Featuring original photos and super 8 footage from California, Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Africa, Morocco, Ireland, France and Fiji.

Y'all know the drill! Bring your chairs, blankets, and your surf buddies for a night on the lawn watching great surf adventures and talking with the adventurers themselves after! Bring your own drinks, the popcorn, as always, will be on us!

Here's some shots from the Dogtown Rumble FIVE. Hosted by the Odd Squad Car Club, held in the parking lot in Venice Beach. Open to all vehicles. No judging taking place, it was more of a laid back car meet for clubs and individuals to show off their vehicles and chill out on the beach.
