Thursday night at the The Waterfront Venice we’re hosting a party/premiere for Stab x Vans Surf's new film, “Go Easy on the Zambezi” — an adventure deep into the heart of Sub-Saharan Africa in search of a river wave that offers rides longer than the most toned thighs can bare and, more importantly, tubes! It stars Dylan Graves, Harry Bryant and Michael February. If you're in the area we encourage you to come by, enjoy a libation or brew and watch the film (playing at 8PM). Mr. Graves will be joining us. Welcome to the Zambezi River. Don’t forget to pack your quiver!

Surfing has long been a key component of California culture. In 2018, the California Legislature declared surfing the official state sport and named Sept. 20 as California Surfing Day.

So this Friday is the second California Surfing Day, which means....... use the hashtag #CaliforniaSurfingDay on your Instagram and twitter posts on Friday. Because other than a big group photo and surf session all the way down in Oceanside, there is no events happening California Surfing Day. Maybe some shops will have some sales or something.
