Following the Masters was the Mens Surf Division, which consisted of 2 qualifying heats and a final. In another example of surfers moving up in divisions, Cole Sweeney claimed First Place in Mens to make him the first competitor to win his division three times. While Dylan Kruger came back with a Third Place finish, newcomer Simon Torres, surfing for Bay Street Boards, slotted into Second Place.
Also in this heat was Zephyr Wilson (above), from the Juniors Division, just surfing the heat for fun.
