At approximately 2:58PM on Tuesday February 6, an Assualt With Deadly Weapon was reported on Sunset Ave near Lincoln Blvd. Suspects descibed as a group that was armed with handguns.

Report stated 4 total suspects (2 male black/2 female black), tried to make entry into the victimns home on Sunset, then fled in a white BMW.

LAPD caught them at the Fox Swap Meet/Smart & Final parking lot, the uspect count was reduced to 3 not 4.

One westbound lane of Pacific Coast Highway wasblocked by mud from Puerco Canyon to Corral Canyon in Malibu. And another section is blocked by downed tree east of Via Escondido. Caltrans is clearing lanes.

An Ocean Water Quality Rain Advisory has been extended for all Los Angeles County beaches. The advisory will be in effect at least until 1:00 am, Wednesday, February 7, 2024. This advisory may be extended depending on further rainfall.
