On Sunday afternoon, a couple surfers were returning to the short term parking lot at Tower 26 and saw this lady trying to rip the license plate off their car. She was able to yank the frame off and walked away when they showed up. As on called the cops, the other started filming her. He posted the confrontation to his Instagram story (that's where these screen grabs originally came from, we reposted them to our Insta-story too). According to the guys, she was yelling back at them then when off and lock herself in the bathroom, still screaming till the cops showed up.

Ever since our humble beginnings as a hole-in-the-wall surf shop back in 1988, ZJ Boarding House has been sharing its passion for Surfing and Skateboarding with the local Santa Monica community and beyond. Venice Beach Photographer Josh "Bagel" Klassman will be at the featured artist at the next Midnite Bazaar.

Bagel will be showing off pieces from his huge collection of photos he took as a surfer/skater growing up in Venice:

ZJ Boarding House held their annual Haunted Heats Surf Contest. As always, it took place in between Towers 26 and 27 in Ocean Park. This year in the Grom heats, we saw a 3 year old, who was the youngest surfer ever to compete in Haunted Heats, ride his Game Of Thrones decorated longboard solo. Along with a Jack Skeleton, Friday The 13th's Jason, some crooks, a little Incredible Hulk, and a Kook Of The Day. Among the adults, the stand outs were the Bird and Lime Scooters, the cast of Aladdin, some drunk judges, a down on his luck Captain Planet, some wrestlers, and a vacationing Darth Vader.
