From Santa Monica Close Up:

"In an unexpected turn of events on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, an elderly woman found herself driving her car southbound on the Santa Monica Beach Bike Path. Eyewitnesses on the scene reported that the woman had unintentionally entered the bike path after departing from Venice, and she appeared to be unfamiliar with how to exit the boardwalk safely."
