The Los Angeles County Lifeguards reported they made 111 Ocean Rescues and 141 Medical Aids this week.
"The mid-week heat wave did not disappoint. Summer-like weather conditions and crowds were experienced across all Los Angeles beaches making for 2 of the busiest lifeguarding days of the year. 111 Ocean Rescues and 141 Medical Aids have been tallied since monday. While temperatures are expected to cool this weekend, hazardous spring time Ocean Conditions are expected to continue."
